Ye Xun, a cellist (played by Lin Chi-Ling), was deeply hurt for her fiancé Xu Zhuo`s (played by Godfrey Gao) absence of a wedding due to a car accident three years ago. Though beautiful and elegant Ye has many suitors, she cannot fall in love with any pursuer. Unexpectedly, Huang Da (played by Huang Bo), an unlucky-in-love construction worker, broke into her life. They know each other after Huang extricates Ye from a blind date farce. The two quickly become friends and Huang begins to purse her desperately despite her refusal to commit or to take him seriously. And just as Ye begins to fall in love with Huang, Xu Zhuo, her former fiancé reappears in her life and becomes the biggest obstacle to their love …
